Karnataka government will keep a day-extended programme, focusing on technological innovation, global competence, innovation, increased education, and entrepreneurship, on former primary minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s start anniversary on Thursday.
The function will be a section of “Good Governance Day”, which will be noticed on the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on December 25. The occasion will be inaugurated by Deputy Main Minister C N Ashwatha Narayana at Vidhana Soudha in Bangaluru.
The Departments of Electronics Information Engineering Biotechnology and Science & Engineering, and Ability Enhancement will hold a 5-panel discussion of 45 minutes each on five diverse matters.
The themes of the panel conversations include “Technology for World Readiness”, “Leveraging Innovation Ecosystem of Bengaluru”, “Beyond Bengaluru”, “Governance and Leadership for Top quality Higher Education”, and “Industry Ready and Entrepreneurial Skills”.
Vice-chancellors, entrepreneurs, academicians, and visionaries will be current in these discussions and share their ideas on associated topics, the launch explained.
December 25 is celebrated as Great Governance Day in honour of Vajpayee.
